Portable Grills $200 and Up

They say money can’t buy happiness, but it will get you a nice portable grill. This updated list contains ten portable grills that cost at least $200. It includes a variety of types, features, and even grilling styles. In the 10+ years since I started this blog, who knew that I’d be showing you a lineup of high-quality grills that can do everything from sear to smoke? I certainly didn’t.

This list has a little something for everyone. I’ve kept some tried-and-true models here because they have proved to be great grills. I’ve also added a few newer models from quality brands. Many models prove that it’s not just about where you want to grill but also where you can take your grill and how you want to cook.

What can you expect from a grill in this price range?

Most grills in the $200+ range are fully-featured and built with the highest design, material, and integrity standards – though this isn’t always the case. Many of these grills have different strengths; for instance, the Blackstone Tailgater Combo is a portable grill that you would want to bring for big camp cookouts, while the Weber Q 1200 is perfect for a small backyard or balcony. Knowing what you need your grill to do is essential when looking at products in this price range.

Though I have only reviewed the Weber Q 1200, I chose these portable grills because they all have excellent customer reviews, made by reputable brands.

At the time of publication, the Weber Traveler isn’t available in North America, but Weber is working on getting it going in time for spring/summer 2021. Check here for updates. I look forward to reviewing it!
